After working in the world of interior design in Manhattan & Brooklyn for nearly a decade, I launched Kate Snyder Studio in 2026. My goal is to deliver original, layered interiors that reflect my clients’ personalities and the way they really live. 

After earning my BS from the University of Richmond and spending 15 years+ in tech & publishing, I returned to school to receive my design degree from NYSID.  Since launching my studio, I’ve drawn upon my experience at design firms Chango & Frampton Co among others to help inform my aesthetic:  a melding of modern and traditional styles that feel deeply personal.  

My practice as a watercolorist informs my use of color, and I have a fondness for vintage pieces that add depth and character.  I live in a century-old home myself (with my three-year-old “roommate”) which has furthered my appreciation for old homes and their quirks – and how to make them function for modern families.
